- This website can be accessed at www.za.store.asus.com (the “Website”) and is operated by Digital Generation Pty Ltd.
- These Terms and Conditions are binding and enforceable against every person who uses and accesses this Website, including but not limited to registering on our website you agree to the terms and conditions and are bound and acknowledge thereof.
- This Website allows you to shop online for ASUS and ROG Products (“Goods”) As well as warranties.

Intellectual Property Rights
- We are an ASUS-authorized independent reseller and have the intellectual property rights in the ASUS shop including the services and any published material. Those works are protected by copyright, trademark, database rights and other such intellectual property laws and treaties around the world. All such rights are reserved.
- You must not modify the paper or digital copies of any materials you have printed off or downloaded in any way, and you must not use any illustrations, photographs, video or audio sequences or any graphics separately from any accompanying text.
- If you print, copy, or download any part of the ASUS shop in breach of these terms of use, your right to use the ASUS shop will cease immediately and you must return or destroy any copies of the materials you have made.
- Using the ASUS shop does not give you permission to link to it or to use any of the trademarks, designs and/or logos contained within it.
- ASUS shop and all logos on the Website are business names and marks which are the property of Five Tech or ASUSTeK Computer Incorporated.
Regular Changes to the ASUS Shop
We aim to update the ASUS shop and maintain the services regularly, which may involve changing the content at any time. If the need arises out of our control, we may suspend access to the ASUS shop or the services or close it indefinitely. Any of the material on the ASUS shop may be outdated at any given time, and we are under no obligation to update such material. Should any Prices be outdated or in Error ASUS reserves the right to refund the customer. Such errors are limited to amounts that are deemed impossible to justify cost of goods. While the eShop runs promotions, we adhere to special prices and promotions, but prices made in error will be refunded to the customer in good faith.
Our Liability
- Whilst we have taken every care in the preparation of the content of the ASUS shop, we cannot guarantee that it is accurate or error-free. We will not be responsible for any errors, omissions or for any technical difficulties you may experience with the ASUS shop. Except as set out in this condition, all conditions, warranty, and representations, expressed or implied by statute, common law or otherwise, in relation to the supply, non-supply or delay in supplying the services are excluded to the extent permitted by law.
- We shall not be liable to any person for any loss or damage which may arise from the use or misuse of the ASUS shop or any of the materials on the ASUS shop (including loss of revenue, profits, contracts, anticipated savings, wasted expenditure, data, or goodwill).
- Nothing in these terms of use shall operate to exclude or restrict our liability for:
- Death or personal injury resulting from negligence.
- Fraud or deceit; or
- For any matter for which it would be illegal for us to exclude, or attempt to exclude our liability.

Registration and use of the website
- Only registered users may purchase from this website. Should you wish to purchase as a visitor, you will still be required to provide us with information that will be stored in compliance with the POPI Act to complete your transaction.
- You are required to provide true and accurate information about yourself if prompted and requested by an ASUS registration process. ASUS will not be held liable for any incorrect information entered by you.
- At any time, you may access and correct your information or update your preferences.

- If ASUS finds that the account/password of ASUS Account had been misappropriated, ASUS may immediately suspend or terminate such ASUS Account's password, account (or any part thereof) or use of this service and remove all the information related to such ASUS Account from this service.
- By using the Website, you warrant that you are 18 (eighteen) years of age or older and of full legal capacity. If you are under the age of 18 (eighteen) or if you are not legally permitted to enter into a binding agreement, then you may use the Website only with the involvement and supervision of your parent or legal guardian.
- You agree that you will not in any way use any device, software, or other instruments to interfere or attempt to interfere with the proper working of the Website. - We are committed to providing secure online payment methods. All our transactions are completed using encrypted technology via third party payment methods.
- Debit Card; Payment via debit card can be done using a third party payment method which will transfer you to PayFast who will complete your secure transaction.
- Credit Card; Payment via credit card will be completed via PayFast during a secure transaction. Once your payment is complete, you will be redirected to our page.

Gift Vouchers and Coupons
- At times, we reserve the right to offer gift vouchers, promo codes and coupons as part of a promotion which can be part of a fixed amount or percentage off.
- We are entitled at any time to correct, change, or withhold a voucher including without limitation if a voucher has been issued in an unauthorized manner.
- Coupons can only follow the below rules unless stipulated otherwise within a campaign:
- Each coupon can only be used once
- Only one coupon or voucher can be applied per order
- Coupons cannot be exchanged for cash or credit
- Coupons cannot be used to buy gift vouchers
Warranty’s and extensions
- All products on the site will specify the standard ASUS Warranty applicable on device.
Warranty Terms and Conditions:
This ASUS manufacturer warranty (hereafter referred to as “warranty”) is granted by ASUSTeK Computer Inc. (hereafter referred to as “ASUS”) to the Purchaser (hereafter referred to as “You”) of the ASUS computer system (hereafter referred to as the “product”). This warranty is being delivered with the product subject to the following terms and conditions. ASUS accredited Service Agents and Repair Centers will provide the services covered under this warranty,
Warranty period of this product:
This warranty period applies for the period defined on the warranty code emailed to you based on the purchase of the product. For Example, 24M means 24 Months, and 36M means 36 months from warranty start date. This warranty commences on the date that the product was first purchased by the end consumer (“date of purchase”). If the date of purchase is not applicable, the Warranty Period will be on the date that the product was first activated by an end customer recorded by ASUS (“Date of Activation”). If the date of activation cannot be applied or proof or purchase cannot be provided, the manufacture date as recorded by ASUS will be deemed the start of the warranty period.
Warranty Period of Battery
The warranty period of the battery is 12 months from date of Purchase*
General
ASUS warrants that the product to be free from defects in workmanship and materials for the Warranty period.
- The Warranty does not cover bundled items bought together such as cables, bag, mouse etc.
- If the product fails during the normal and proper use within the warranty period, ASUS , at its discretion, will repair or replace the defective parts of the product itself, with the new or reconditioned parts or products that are functionally equivalent or superior to those originally supplied.
- This warranty applies only if the product was newly manufactured on the Date of Purchase and not sold as used, refurbished, or manufactured seconds.
- Please keep the original invoice for service requests and future use.
- This warranty does not cover failed use caused by improper installation, operation, cleaning or maintenance, accident, damage, misuse, abuse, non-ASUS modifications to the product, any third-party software programs, normal wear and tear or any other event, act, default or omission outside ASUS’ control.
- All components that ASUS Service Center repair or replace will be under warranty for three months for the remainder of the warranty period, whichever is applicable. The repair center may recover the original configured operation system bundled with the product. ASUS will not restore or transfer any data or software from the product’s original storage media. If the product is repaired, all the users generated data may be permanently deleted.
International Warranty
International Warranty and Support Information
If you purchase an ASUS product in a country covered by ASUS's International Warranty Service and seek service in another covered country, ASUS will provide international warranty service and technical support. For example, if you purchase an ASUS product in Country "A" and later move to Country "B" and wish to obtain warranty service in Country "B," this ASUS product will be eligible for international warranty service in Country "B" if both countries are within the coverage of ASUS's International Warranty Service. Please refer to the list of countries covered by ASUS's International Warranty for more details.
1. Your product is entitled to limited international warranty service during the warranty period. (You may be required to provide a valid purchase invoice or warranty certificate for verification before service is provided.)
2. To fully enjoy ASUS's international warranty service, please visit the official ASUS support website to find detailed service center information. (https://www.asus.com/support/service-center-location/)
3. The international warranty coverage means that any product malfunctions occurring under normal usage during the warranty period are covered. The service does not include a complete replacement of the device. Please refer to the warranty document for exclusions.
4. Accessories included with the product (e.g., computer bags or other accessory products) are not covered by the international warranty, except for certain original accessories with a declared warranty.
5. The models covered by the international warranty may require longer repair times depending on local parts availability, such as keyboards in different languages or models not launched in that region.
6. The international warranty service may vary by region and will be based on the services provided in that area. In certain situations, additional fees may apply. If you have any questions, it is recommended to contact the local service center first.
7. If the country where the repair is needed is not covered by the international warranty, repair services cannot be provided. You may take the product to another country covered by the international warranty or wait until you return to a covered country for repair.
8. Special project machines, refurbished products, or reconditioned units purchased within the international warranty coverage area may not necessarily include international warranty service and will be subject to the warranty terms provided by the individual sales channel (international warranty/local warranty).

Software Support
The warranty covers the hardware of the product. ASUS will provide technical support for the preinstalled software only when it comes to the proper functioning of the hardware, for any issues regarding the software. We advise you to review the user manuals, ASUS support website, and third-party support center.
Exclusions from this limited warranty service
The warranty only covers technical hardware issues during the warranty period and in normal use conditions. It applies to the firmware issues but not to any other software issues or customer included damages or circumstances such as but not limited to:
- The product being tampered with, repaired and/or modified by non-authorized personnel.
- The serial number of the product, components or accessories have been altered, cancelled, or removed
- Obsolescence
- Damage, (accidental or otherwise) to the product that does not impact the products operation and functions such as without limitation to rust, change in colour, texture or finish, wear and tear and gradual deterioration
- Damage to the product caused by war, terrorism, fire, accident, natural disaster, intentional or accidental misuse, abuse, neglect, or improper maintenance.
- Damage caused by improper installation or connection of malfunctioning of a peripheral device such as a USB, printer optical drive or network card.
Non-usability due to lost or forgotten passwords.

In case a notebook is faulty, it must be sent to an ASP (Authorized Service Partner)

The following are not considered as warranty repairs
-CID (customer induced damage) or physical damage such as, but not limited to, cracked/broken LCD, pimples on the covers (wrong screw inserted into wrong place), Liquid damage, Burn damage (including power surge or spike), damaged covers, damaged I/O slots (USB, HDMI, etc.) Software related faults such as, but not limited to, 3rd party software, viruses, etc.

Carry-in

PUR (Pick Up and Return) – within South Africa only
PUR service is valid for In-Warranty Desktops, All-in-One and notebooks within South African borders.
Customer can log a request for PUR online - https://rma.asus-europe.eu/za
The customer will have to complete information online, provide a collection address, contact number, give the reported fault, choose the closest repair center, agree to the terms and conditions, and upload a copy of the purchase invoice. The request will be validated and forwarded to the ASP.
The customer needs to make sure that the notebook is properly packed with sufficient packaging to avoid any damage during transportation the ASP will contact the customer to arrange collection
Once collected, the unit will be sent to the chosen repair location (typically 2 days from collection date to delivery to the service partner).
Onsite repair – within South Africa only
Onsite repair service is valid for In-Warranty Desktops, All-in-One and notebooks within South African borders. The Onsite service is only available to a device with a valid Onsite registered to the serial number Customer can log a request for PUR online - https://rma.asus-europe.eu/za
The customer will have to complete information online, provide a collection address, contact number, give the reported fault, agree to the terms and conditions, and upload a copy of the purchase invoice.
The request will be validated and forwarded to the ASP. The ASP will contact the customer to verify the fault and setup an onsite visit. Onsite requests registered before 14:00 will be attended by the next business day and after 14:00 will be attended to 2nd next busines day. Onsite request within 50Km radius from the major cities will be Next business day. Onsite request more than 50km will be attended to on best effort basis.
Repairs at the ASPs
The ASP will book the unit into their system, using the customer information and invoice date.
The ASP will assess and test the notebook for all faults, using Asus test tools.
IW (In Warranty) repairs
The ASP will order the required parts.
Most parts are available at the ASPs and are allocated to the repair within 2 days of the order.
If parts are not available at the repair center, it should be delivered within 7 to 10 days (depending on external factors, such as shipping delays, customs clearance, etc.) Once the parts are available in the workshop, the notebooks are repaired.
OOW (Out Of Warranty) repairs
If any damages or out of warranty conditions are found, the ASP will quote the customer for repairs
Only when the customer accepts and pay the quotation will the part be ordered and the notebook repaired
Completed Repairs
After the repairs, the ASP will run a series of tests to confirm that the repaired unit has no more faults.
Only when all tests have passed, can the ASP release the notebooks back to the customers
For carry-in cases, the ASP will contact the customers to inform them that the repairs are completed and are ready for collection
For pick-up and return cases, the ASP will contact the customer and arrange for the delivery of the repaired unit
Preinstalled MyAsus app
Updated contact information is available in the MyAsus app that is preinstalled on all notebooks.
MyAsus app has built-in diagnostic tests, link to FAQs and driver updates, as well as support features like online chat, email us and contact

Returns
Unwanted goods
You can return an unwanted product to us at no charge, provided:
- it is undamaged and unused, with the original labels and stickers still attached.
- it is in the original packaging, which must be undamaged and in its original condition with all seals still intact (if applicable).
- it is not missing any accessories or parts.
- you log a return on the Website within 7 working days of delivery to you or collection by you of the unwanted product. After 7 working days, you can only return a product if it is defective: and
- it is not one of the products listed below:
a product which has been personalized for you or made to your specifications.
We will collect the product from you at no charge. Once we have inspected the product and validated your return, we will credit your account with the purchase price of the product within 10 days of the return (or refund you if that is your preference).
Not what you ordered?
If we have accidentally delivered the incorrect package to you, please contact us immediately and we will arrange a collection and redelivery of your correct parcel at no charge.
Defective Products
We do our best to ensure that all products are quality checked and delivered to you in good working order without defects. A defect is a imperfection in the manufacture of a product that would make it not acceptable for resale or purchase.
If you notify us within 7 days of damage to your goods occurring on delivery of your order, you can return it to us at no charge and, if stock is available, we will do our best to immediately arrange a replacement. If your return request falls within this policy and is deemed eligible for a return, we will:
- replace the correct product to you (if the correct product is available) or.
- credit your account with the purchase price of the product or:
- refund you with the purchase price of the product.
Refunds
If you return a defective product to us, but you fail to return all of the accessories and parts that were sold with that product, we are entitled to (subject to applicable law) refuse the return, or only to replace the item that you did return; or to estimate the value of the missing accessories and parts and to credit or refund you in respect of the returned item only.
Please note that we only refund to the payment method that you originally used – i.e. payment by credit card will be refunded to the same credit card, payment by Instant EFT or COD (cash on delivery) will be refunded to your nominated bank account.
Indemnity
you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless ASUS and its affiliates, service providers, syndicators, distributors, licensors, officers, directors and employees, from and against any and all losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising out of any claim or demand (including reasonable attorneys' fees and court costs), due to or in connection with your violation of this notice or any applicable law or regulation, or third-party right.

The standard delivery time for ASUS orders is 3-5 working days from the time the order is processed.

Order Detail and information on Status
While we know your order information is available on the site, we have made the below available for your understanding of your order and where it is sitting in the process:
- Pending payment - This is when ASUS is waiting for your EFT or payment to reflect, if it does not reflect in 24 Hours, one of our consultants will contact you. Please note no orders will not be released in this status
- Processing - This is when we have received your payment, our system has allocated your stock and we are busy processing the order internally.
- Picking - The warehouse is now getting your stock together and preparing it for the courier
- Out on delivery - The courier has collected it, you should be able to receive your waybill number and track the details of your order at this stage
- Delivered - Your order has been delivered to the address and signed for
- Complete - The waybill is returned to us and we have closed the order as complete
- NPS - this is our customer satisfaction survey that will be sent out so you can rate our service at the end of the transaction so we know how to better our service to you.
At any time you are still unsure of the status of your order, please drop us a call or email and we will guide you through where your order is, we assure you it is in good hands.
ASUS REFURBISHED UNITS
- Digital Generation Pty Ltd Refurbished units do not carry a 3 year warranty. Any warranty on a refurbished product is not transferrable.
- According to Sections 55 and 56 of the Consumer Protection Act (CPA), a consumer who purchases second-hand or used goods will also enjoy protection from the CPA unless he/she (a) has been expressly informed that particular goods were offered in a specific condition; AND (b) has expressly agreed to accept the goods in that condition or knowingly acted in a manner consistent with accepting the goods in that condition.
- Without the permitted exception, if second-hand or used goods do not comply with the requirements set out in Section 55 (e.g., are of good quality, in good working order and free of any defects; are useable and durable for a reasonable period), a consumer may, within six months of the purchase, return the goods to Digital Generation and qualify for a replacement, refund, or credit on their product.
- Any Known issues on the Demo laptops are stated on the device however should the customer have any further issues and would like to return to our service centre for repairs, they can visit the Pinnacle Service centre.

Warranty’s and extensions
- All products on the site will carry a 3-year warranty.
- The 3-Year warranty will begin on the date of purchase, and we will refer to the invoice date for warranty start date.
Warranty Terms and Conditions:
This ASUS manufacturer warranty (hereafter referred to as “warranty”) is granted by ASUSTeK Computer Inc. (hereafter referred to as “ASUS”) to the Purchaser (hereafter referred to as “You”) of the ASUS computer system (hereafter referred to as the “product”). This warranty is being delivered with the product subject to the following terms and conditions. ASUS accredited Service Agents and Repair Centers will provide the services covered under this warranty,
Warranty period of this product:
This warranty period applies for the period defined on the warranty code emailed to you based on the purchase of the product. For Example, 24M means 24 Months, and 36M means 36 months from warranty start date. This warranty commences on the date that the product was first purchased by the end consumer (“date of purchase”). If the date of purchase is not applicable, the Warranty Period will be on the date that the product was first activated by an end customer recorded by ASUS (“Date of Activation”). If the date of activation cannot be applied or proof or purchase cannot be provided, the manufacture date as recorded by ASUS will be deemed the start of the warranty period.
Warranty Period of Battery
The warranty period of the battery is 12 months from date of Purchase*
General
ASUS warrants that the product to be free from defects in workmanship and materials for the Warranty period.
- The Warranty does not cover bundled items bought together such as cables, bag, mouse etc.
- If the product fails during the normal and proper use within the warranty period, ASUS , at its discretion, will repair or replace the defective parts of the product itself, with the new or reconditioned parts or products that are functionally equivalent or superior to those originally supplied.
- This warranty applies only if the product was newly manufactured on the Date of Purchase and not sold as used, refurbished, or manufactured seconds.
- Please keep the original invoice for service requests and future use.
- This warranty does not cover failed use caused by improper installation, operation, cleaning or maintenance, accident, damage, misuse, abuse, non-ASUS modifications to the product, any third-party software programs, normal wear and tear or any other event, act, default or omission outside ASUS’ control.
- All components that ASUS Service Center repair or replace will be under warranty for three months for the remainder of the warranty period, whichever is applicable. The repair center may recover the original configured operation system bundled with the product. ASUS will not restore or transfer any data or software from the product’s original storage media. If the product is repaired, all the users generated data may be permanently deleted.
Software Support
The warranty covers the hardware of the product. ASUS will provide technical support for the preinstalled software only when it comes to the proper functioning of the hardware, for any issues regarding the software. We advise you to review the user manuals, ASUS support website, and third-party support center.
Exclusions from this limited warranty service
The warranty only covers technical hardware issues during the warranty period and in normal use conditions. It applies to the firmware issues but not to any other software issues or customer included damages or circumstances such as but not limited to:
- The product being tampered with, repaired and/or modified by non-authorized personnel.
- The serial number of the product, components or accessories have been altered, cancelled, or removed
- Obsolescence
- Damage, (accidental or otherwise) to the product that does not impact the products operation and functions such as without limitation to rust, change in colour, texture or finish, wear and tear and gradual deterioration
- Damage to the product caused by war, terrorism, fire, accident, natural disaster, intentional or accidental misuse, abuse, neglect, or improper maintenance.
- Damage caused by improper installation or connection of malfunctioning of a peripheral device such as a USB, printer optical drive or network card.
Non-usability due to lost or forgotten passwords.

The following are not considered as warranty repairs
-CID (customer induced damage) or physical damage such as, but not limited to, cracked/broken LCD, pimples on the covers (wrong screw inserted into wrong place), Liquid damage, Burn damage (including power surge or spike), damaged covers, damaged I/O slots (USB, HDMI, etc.) Software related faults such as, but not limited to, 3rd party software, viruses, etc.

Carry-in

PUR (Pick Up and Return) – within South Africa only
PUR service is valid for In-Warranty Desktops, All-in-One and notebooks within South African borders.
Customer can log a request for PUR online - https://rma.asus-europe.eu/za
The customer will have to complete information online, provide a collection address, contact number, give the reported fault, choose the closest repair center, agree to the terms and conditions, and upload a copy of the purchase invoice. The request will be validated and forwarded to the ASP.
The customer needs to make sure that the notebook is properly packed with sufficient packaging to avoid any damage during transportation the ASP will contact the customer to arrange collection
Once collected, the unit will be sent to the chosen repair location (typically 2 days from collection date to delivery to the service partner).
Onsite repair – within South Africa only
Onsite repair service is valid for In-Warranty Desktops, All-in-One and notebooks within South African borders. The Onsite service is only available to a device with a valid Onsite registered to the serial number Customer can log a request for PUR online - https://rma.asus-europe.eu/za
The customer will have to complete information online, provide a collection address, contact number, give the reported fault, agree to the terms and conditions, and upload a copy of the purchase invoice.
The request will be validated and forwarded to the ASP. The ASP will contact the customer to verify the fault and setup an onsite visit. Onsite requests registered before 14:00 will be attended by the next business day and after 14:00 will be attended to 2nd next busines day. Onsite request within 50Km radius from the major cities will be Next business day. Onsite request more than 50km will be attended to on best effort basis.
Repairs at the ASPs
The ASP will book the unit into their system, using the customer information and invoice date.
The ASP will assess and test the notebook for all faults, using Asus test tools.
IW (In Warranty) repairs
The ASP will order the required parts.
Most parts are available at the ASPs and are allocated to the repair within 2 days of the order.
If parts are not available at the repair center, it should be delivered within 7 to 10 days (depending on external factors, such as shipping delays, customs clearance, etc.) Once the parts are available in the workshop, the notebooks are repaired.
OOW (Out Of Warranty) repairs
If any damages or out of warranty conditions are found, the ASP will quote the customer for repairs
Only when the customer accepts and pay the quotation will the part be ordered and the notebook repaired
Completed Repairs
After the repairs, the ASP will run a series of tests to confirm that the repaired unit has no more faults.
Only when all tests have passed, can the ASP release the notebooks back to the customers
For carry-in cases, the ASP will contact the customers to inform them that the repairs are completed and are ready for collection
For pick-up and return cases, the ASP will contact the customer and arrange for the delivery of the repaired unit

Returns
Unwanted goods
You can return an unwanted product to us at no charge within 7 days of purchase, provided:
- it is undamaged and unused, with the original labels and stickers still attached.
- it is in the original packaging, which must be undamaged and in its original condition with all seals still intact (if applicable).
- it is not missing any accessories or parts.
- you log a return on the Website within 7 days of delivery to you or collection by you of the unwanted product. After 7 days, you can only return a product if it is defective: and
- it is not one of the products listed below:
a product which has been personalized for you or made to your specifications.
We will collect the product from you at no charge. Once we have inspected the product and validated your return, we will credit your account with the purchase price of the product within 10 days of the return (or refund you if that is your preference).
Not what you ordered?
If we have accidentally delivered the incorrect package to you, please contact us immediately and we will arrange a collection and redelivery of your correct parcel at no charge.
Defective Products
We do our best to ensure that all products are quality checked and delivered to you in good working order without defects. A defect is a imperfection in the manufacture of a product that would make it not acceptable for resale or purchase.
If you notify us within 7 days of damage to your goods occurring on delivery of your order, you can return it to us at no charge and, if stock is available, we will do our best to immediately arrange a replacement. If your return request falls within this policy and is deemed eligible for a return, we will:
- replace the correct product to you (if the correct product is available) or.
- credit your account with the purchase price of the product or:
- refund you with the purchase price of the product.
Refunds
If you return a defective product to us, but you fail to return all of the accessories and parts that were sold with that product, we are entitled to (subject to applicable law) refuse the return, or only to replace the item that you did return; or to estimate the value of the missing accessories and parts and to credit or refund you in respect of the returned item only.
Please note that we only refund to the payment method that you originally used – i.e. payment by credit card will be refunded to the same credit card, payment by Instant EFT or COD (cash on delivery) will be refunded to your nominated bank account.
Refunds
you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless ASUS and its affiliates, service providers, syndicators, distributors, licensors, officers, directors and employees, from and against any and all losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising out of any claim or demand (including reasonable attorneys' fees and court costs), due to or in connection with your violation of this notice or any applicable law or regulation, or third-party right.
